Plan your day spent at Puesto La Lechuza

We organize personalized days in the countryside, as well as social events, events for companies or for families, especially designed according to the needs and desires of each group and occasion.
Among the different activities that are offered, we have:
• Traditional gastronomy (lunch, afternoon snack, charcuterie, dinner).
• Guided tour around the town that includes visiting local craftsmen and the historic quarter of the town.
• Yerba mate tasting.
• Horseback riding.
• Guided visit around the countryside.
• Traditional music.
• Gaucho skills: horses and tricks.

We invite you to discover the essence of rural life in our guided visit to El Puesto La Lechuza and Estancia La Julia, where you can observe agricultural machinery in action, meet the locals “paisanos” performing their daily tasks and learn about cattle care, all of this in an authentic and unique experience that will connect you with the roots and rural life.
Additionally, you’ll have the chance to explore the diversity of crops and agricultural processes that sustain our production.

We offer various options to enjoy our landscapes on horseback. This experience is organized in collaboration with Los Bayos de Areco, and the duration is tailored to our visitor´s preferences, offering different choices based on the time they wish to spend.

Estancia to Estancia Horseback riding
This horseback riding offers a unique experience to explore and discover the beauty and vastness of the pampa’s plains.
We depart from Estancia La Julia and take a route through roads and cross-country, allowing you to connect with the tranquility and majesty of this unique landscape. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to admire the native flora and fauna, as well as learn about local agricultural and cattle breeding practices.
The experience culminates with a lunch at the historic Puesto La Lechuza, before returning to Estancia La Julia

Horseback riding in the Argentine countryside
It offers an excellent opportunity to discover the calmness and beauty of the authentic Argentine farm in full production (local crops such as wheat; maize; sunflower; soy , agriculture and cattle activities, and birds of the region).
Duration to be agreed: 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Includes a charcuterie or an afternoon snack with traditional pastries.

The ride begins in the afternoon, allowing us to explore picturesque rural roads and cross the countryside while enjoying the spectacular sunset on horseback. This peaceful journey gives us the opportunity to deeply connect with nature and the region’s unique landscapes.
When arriving at El Puesto La Lechuza,you’ll be welcomed by our family with a warm fire ready, set to enjoy an authentic traditional meal and a guitar session around the bonfire, immersing you in gaucho tradition and hospitality.
